PSA

So today as I was perusing blogs I came across some very interesting info. Sarah at Life Sweet Life shared something that I knew nothing about. The correct way to use a bobby pin!
I may be the last person in the world to know this but apparently the wavy side is the side that goes up against your scalp. Who knew? Maybe everyone but me? So when I went to Yoglates today I tried putting my bobby pins in the correct way & they really do work better. They stay in place better. So there's your public service announcement for the day.

Speaking of Yoglates. Due to sickness & holiday stuff, I haven't been to class in about a week and a half. I was a little leery of going today because I still don't feel great but I thought maybe I could sweat the sickness out. HA! My goal was to not pass out. My head is stopped up so all the bending over tends to make me lightheaded, combine that with the 90 degree heat & things can get a little out of hand.  I accomplished my goal! I only felt like I was going to pass out a couple of times so all was good. I plan to go back tomorrow. There will be lots of eating this weekend & I don't want to gain weight.

Toodles!

  1. Oh my goodness, Traci! Don't exercise when you are sick. Your body needs to heal! You are being too hard on yourself. Enjoy your Holiday and start losing weight again after Christmas. Try a protein shake first thing in the morning and limit your carbs to a 100 per day. The weight will come off. It did for me :) I was down 24 lbs at the end of Nov. and haven't weighed myself since. Hope I haven't gained too much back during December.

  8. Oh Traci, I hope you get to feeling better before Santa comes! Hubby is so sick too. He is going to bring home a shot today so that I can give it to him, and maybe he will be better before Santa gets here. You know men are the biggest babies when they are sick, so we gotta get him well. Do ya'll do traditional fixings, or do ya'll do cajun style Christmas? Don't know why I would even ask such a thing, but I bet a cajun style Christmas dinner would be great! Anyhoo, Merry Christmas to you, Dean, and all of your loved ones. We are getting storms right now, with tornado watches, so I am gonna get up and cook junk to munch on for the week-end just incase lights go out afterwhile.
