Counting down!

I"m officially counting down to Monday. Well, technically, I'll be very excited when 4:30 Friday gets here because that means no work until December 17th. However, we leave on our cruise Monday. I'm not even too bummed about packing. I HATE to pack. The whole decision making process is just too stressful. We have absolutely no plans on this cruise. No reservations anywhere, no excursions planned. I'm not at all concerned about what to wear. This is so different from the other cruises we've been on but I'm looking forward to just hanging out, doing what we want when we want to do it or doing nothing. We're not bringing dress up clothes either. I could probably just throw some stuff in a suitcase & be fine & I NEVER do that. We'll see.

Dean & I are the keepers of the neighborhood children's Christmas gifts. Having a 4 Br house with only 2 people living there is very conducive to this sort of thing. Especially, when you have nosy, sneaky children. We've had battery operated cars, guitars, iPads, clothes, shoes, etc. One thing that we've NEVER had, we have this year.......

Yes, it's a kayak......and it's 10 feet long! Random, I know. I got a text from my friend the other day asking if they could store a kayak at our house. Sure, fine, no problem. It's not a problem. I just wasn't expecting a real, 10 ft. kayak. This led to a discussion on the differences of canoes, pirogues & kayaks. None of which I ever want to get in!
