My New Ride!

I'll get back to vacay posts later. Most of my pics are still on the camera. Last night we went car shopping. I've been driving my Expedition for almost 7.5 years. While I loved it, it was time for something new. This is what I got.
It's the new Ford Explorer Limited. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I was having a hard time deciding between black, white & silver but when we got to the dealership they only had 2 & both were black & one had the most horrific interior I've ever seen in my life. That made my decision very easy. I told the salesman that whoever decides what color seats they make needs to be fired. Seriously.

I think I need to take a class to figure out all the features. I'm definitely going to have to read the directions. YUCK! It doesn't even have a key. Just push a button & it starts. It talked to me this morning. It didn't like that I was fooling with the radio while I was driving. This lady came on & said "please use voice activation to prevent distracted driving". It's amazing what they do with cars now. This is what they're calling the "key".

So weird to me. I guess all the new cars have this though. OK so I'm off to read the directions now.

Happy Friday!!!!

Toodles!

  3. Awesome! It looks soo pretty! That is hilarious that it told you to stop messing with the radio! We have a 2010 Tahoe and it most definitely does not talk to me!

  7. This is sweet! Yes, voice activation is now widely used to keep our properties protected. Knight Rider has influenced car innovation that much. Anyway, congrats on your new car Traci! =)

  8. Wow! It has voice activation? Congratulations on getting your new Ford Explorer Limited. How's your experience with it so far? On a side note, I wonder if they'll finally build flying cars in the coming years. Then again, that might just be wishful thinking.
