Trick or Treat was changed to Friday night because the weather was supposed to be awful Saturday. Our Home owner's Association has someone make jambalaya & hot dogs & there's a train that gives the kids rides. The ladies all get together in one driveway & hand out candy. There were some really cute kids this year. We had Jake from State Farm, LSU Golden Girls, Leonard Fournette's & even a LSU Drum Major. Really cute!

Saturday morning I was registered for the Sticker Stampede. It's a 5K that the all girls high school hosts every year. It's always a fun race because there are lots of people participating that I know. I was crossing my fingers that the weather would hold out long enough to get the run in. It rained a little but it was humid so it didn't feel bad.
This was the very first 5K I'd ever ran. I really wanted to do it in under 30 minutes.
My official time was 28:21. I was super excited!!! A new PR.
Not long after I got home is when the rain started & didn't stop for like 3 days. We braved it & went to Caliente Saturday night. LOL!

Sunday after Mass we went to breakfast at a new place. It was really good. Then there was more rain.
Sunday night I had dinner for my birthday with Vicki & Allison. We went to Rum House & it was delicious! We always have a good time when we get together.
Monday morning I went for a run.
Now I'm just waiting for Thursday!
We leave bright & early at 3:30 am! Yikes!
